Emily is a sophomore Chemistry major and healthcare management minor. She is
from Elizabethtown, PA. Her love for all things science pushed her towards the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field. She was originally a Pharmaceutical Science major but changed to
Chemistry after her first chemistry class at Temple. She recently added a healthcare management minor and is very excited to be taking business classes this semester. She is a part of the undergraduate research program here at temple. This program allows you to research for credit. Her current research involves the use of infrared spectroscopy to image proteins. When she's not busy with classes, she's also involved in the TU Chemical Society, the Student Conduct Board,
and the Honors Admissions and Transitions Team. She has been involved in Model UN since her freshman year of high school. The World Health Organization has always had a special place in her heart so when she
found out there was an AMWHO chapter at Temple she had to get involved.
Carter is a freshman studying Public Health with minors in German and Sustainable Food Systems. Since high school, he has been very interested in global health and healthcare, along with an emphasis on nutrition and dietary habits. Carter is also involved in choral singing and loves long-distance running. He is the secretary of Temple's AMWHO chapter this year.
